Capacity building
The ENCISS programme aims to build the skills and capacity of grantees and others to help achieve impactful projects and a healthy, vibrant civil society in the long term.
ENCISS has three key objectives for capacity building:
- Improve the technical capacities of grantees to design impactful projects and programmes, produce budgets and manage finances and administration.
- Strengthen the knowledge and expertise in accountable governance activities such as budget monitoring and issues such as gender, corruption and human rights.
- Enhance the organisation and operations of grantee CSOs.
The range of planned capacity building activities will include annual information sharing sessions, financial and project management training and technical assistance.
