ENCISS management

Christian Aid has been appointed to manage the entire programme and be accountable for all ENCISS funding.

Christian Aid is one of the UK’s largest grant makers in development and emergencies, supporting the poorest regardless of religion, ethnicity or gender. It has a global reach with 30 regional and country offices operating programmes in 45 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. Christian Aid works with 570 partner organisations, both secular and faith-based, to reach the poorest regardless of faith, gender, ethnicity, caste, sexuality or HIV status.

Sierra Leone is one of Christian Aid’s flagship programmes in Africa. Christian Aid in Sierra Leone has significant experience and track record in supporting civil society to engage with national and local authorities on governance issues including participative decision-making, citizen monitoring, fiscal and resource transparency, conflict reduction and the political inclusion of women and young people.
